If the next few updates to the site are going to change it so you can't PM minor accounts (like mine), then how are commissions gonna get through to me? The last time someone commissioned me they sent it through PM, so how am I gonna get the messages if the updates change that?
If you can make rice, do it. Unless you already have rice, then you can finish that and then make more rice.

- You make a news post to link in your 'commission' / 'for hire' section of your profile
- They comment on the news post that they're interested in a commission
- You PM them to discuss the details
- Commission done!
